Mark Zuckerberg announces he is working with Trump’s government to push back against EU censorship and bring free speech back to the internet.

Simply beautiful to watch this happen.

I would trust someone in the field who looked into this intensively for 6 years ahead of someone who only became aware of it online 2 weeks ago and immediately used it as a political weapon.

I don’t know why you and a few others on here keep using this same Labour talking point.

People haven’t only been aware of this stuff for 2 weeks. Thousands of people have been demanding justice for this stuff for YEARS but being called “far-right” by the globalists in charge.

I think the lefts champagne socialist bubble has left them so out of touch with the country that they are surprised by things.

NONE of this is new. It’s just new to you because you only get your information from propagandised liberal media sources

I remember, after the BBC drama Three Girls, based on the grooming gang atrocities in Rochdale, was screened in 2012, there was a debate on this forum about the issues raised.

I remember defending the girls from some of the dinosaurs around in those days, who dismissed them as “child prostitutes”, or “knowing too much for their own good”, and similar disgusting stereotypes.

Yes, I remember the wide coverage across media and the full and frank discussion on here. Is it OK to call those attitudes misogynistic and the people posting them arseholes? Please delete if not appropriate.

So, Trump says the Panama Canal should belong to the US, Greenland should become US territory and Canada should be a US state, with the border an artificially drawn line. The man is just insane.
Apparently he thinks that Denmark’s claim to Greenland is doubtful, even though the territory has been officially part of Denmark since 1721, some 60-odd years longer than the USA has existed.

Can’t wait to see what the lovable rogue gets up to next <laugh>

Well TBF, the 3,796,742 square miles of current US land is not big enough for his ego so I guess his hand is forced.

Bond yields going absolutely mental.

Worse than Liz truss

Well done Labour

Not saying it is good, but between May 23 & May 24, there were similar high peaks. Let's look at a slightly longer period to see if they come down.

That said, (and I am not a Labour apologist), things sometimes have to get worse to get better. The trend is upwards though.

Let's revisit this in 6-12 months.

A really interesting point is the media silence this time.

The outcry around truss was largely media generated. Why are they silent now?

I agree. Maybe it is because it is a steady rise to already high yields. Liz Truss was a huge jump and the added disaster of everything else. Like I said not good, and can't really take it in isolation as there are other things going on, but one to keep an eye on over the next 6-12 months

Unfortunately I think it’s a sign that people don’t trust this government to grow the economy.

But this was my prediction so admittedly I may be biased.
