The thing there is all would have needed a like-for-like replacement, for example selling Dier would have meant we'd spend a chunk of the fee buying a new DM, while cashing in on Eriksen or Dele would have needed a new AM signed etc etc so there wouldn't be the squad refresh people assumeTo be fair dele alli, eriksen could have gone for silly money. Hell even dier was nearly sold for 45m which was silly money at the time but levy didn't want to be bullied anymore after the berba, bale, modric sagas.
In the end they all left for peanuts.
There only real moment where hindsight is a bugger is Andrew Robertson moving to Liverpool the summer Man Utd were reportedly sniffing around Danny Rose, as that was about the only time we could have cashed in and been left with something like £30-35m of the fee to invest elsewhere
