I think Trump is happy to have both the money that Musk lobs at him and the backing of twitter and Musk is happy to have the ear of the President and the lucrative contracts that will come his way from Federal Govt for Space X But, their fractious personalities and massive egos suggest that this will be another Bromance, like the one with Farage that could go tits up in an instant.
Trump’s on Musk’s payroll, not the other way round. $250 million dollars went from Musk’s account to Trump’s campaign. Follow the money…
... perhaps because they are already implementing EVERY recommendation of the Jay report which came out in 2022 and which the Tories failed to act upon ... Doesn't mean they aren't backing targeted local investigations like the one commissioned by Andy Burnham, the mayor of Manchester, into the Oldham case ... You really do need to read into things more, Sucksta - otherwise you just sit with the other Twatter numpties duped by the sort of ill-informed nonsense that the Mouthy Muskrat propagates
Non-Elected 'official' to boot ... a triumph of inherited super wealth over any substance, integrity or genuine talent ...
Trudeau to resign. Always seemed a bit of a dictator to me, but I didn't really follow his Premier so maybe I'm being harsh.
Very harsh imo He's been ruling as a minority government for a bit now and it's been a mess. I think the next PM (who will be a Canadian Tory) is full of buzzwords and insults, but so far has offered very little in the way of actual ideas.
They should come up with a catchy acronym like MAGA ... possibly... Canada Unified Nationally Triumphant ... ... can see Musk in the baseball cap already
About time really. For years we've been concerned with covert Russian meddling in our (and US) elections And here we have a prime nobber being quite open with his interference in UK politics. Calling for a democratically elected Govt to be overthrown, and suggesting he's going to throw millions of $$$$ at a party to try and influence the next GE.
Home Secretary making a statement in parliament on child sexual exploitation with Jess alongside her.
I reckon Jess has probably had some threats, so they've decided they need to make this statement. Victim and survivors panel to be set up, more detail to follow. Will make it manadatory to report abuse and will be a criminal offence not to, this will be put forward by Spring.
