Not too bothered about the lineup as I expect very little out of the game. I would rather see youngsters giving it their all than Chris Bedia strutting around like a half pay officer. Against Middlesbrough that infuriated me more than anything else!

Watched plymouth v stoke

I thought us against boro was one sided

Plymouth have defended beyond belief
Theyre def playing for each other and the shirt

Our turn today

We’re now playing Jacob instead of Giles
A genuine kid who is way way out of his depth in the championship

get that **** Giles apologising in front of the cameras

Giles should be embarrassed to be sat on that bench today.

Unless he’s recovering from illness, getting over a knock or moving to another club on Monday.

In which case it’s fine.

But we are fielding a bench full of kids as it is Howden. If we ship out the so called "League 1 players" and don't bring in what we expect then where are we?

I'd rather field the kids for the game and get out the players we want out, then risk an injury etc and scupper the transfer out. As much as it's a weak bench, the experience for youngster is invaluable long term, after this week have a decent break to get both players out and better in. Imo the club's thinking that

While I agree mate of all games to do it

Looks like Sellés is employing the strategy he used at Reading. Get rid of the deadwood and bring up more youngsters. Challenge for the Reading fans at first but they were gutted when he came to us in December. I take the long view and support what he is doing. Today is just one match we were never likely to win so why not?

Rather Jacob than Giles. Giles can’t defend like Jacob. I don’t think it’s a bad lineup at all. Just worried about when we have to make changes.

C’mon City. Burns finally back commentating and a game we are not expecting anything from - it’s all aligned! If we can keep them out for the first half an hour and can be brave going forward, we have a chance. UTT.

Thoughts on the team news
Just the two changes; not surprised he's returned to a more balanced defensive unit with Matty Jacob in, and given what happened with Abu Kamara yesterday, I'm not surprised he's brought the winger back into the squad. It is a very youthful bench, with no Bedia, Omur or Racioppi. It's my understanding both Bedia and Racioppi have transfer interest.

Omur's absence
I'm told Abdus is not playing today because of illness, nothing to do with any transfer speculation.

Anyone remember this absolute 2-0 battering of Leeds in 2011?

https://www.espn.co.uk/football/match/_/gameId/344167/leeds-united-hull-city

I think Warnock came out & said it was one of the best teams he’d seen, or something like that.
Even back then, we had no striker, it’s been that way for years, don’t know why it just seems to happen constantly?

We’ve scored the joint least goals with Millwall & Leeds have scored the most, it’d be nice to batter them 1-0 rather than the other way round like Middlesbrough did the other day!
He said something like 'luckily we don't have to play Hull every week so no panic'
