Injuries have really undermined our line up today, reckon we're missing 6 who if fit would have started. Either way absolutely no strength in depth and certainly few goals (if any) in the squad selected for today.
It’s really not a good sign when players are signed on 3 or 4-year contracts and get sold after only a year at a loss. We did the same with Allahyar who we signed for £4 million and sold for £2 million just over a year later. Incidentally, he’s playing well in Belgium for Westerlo.

The Omur situation is odd, as the Turkish transfer window doesn't open until the 15th. But, who knows. Nice to see Andy Smith on the bench, not sure how fit he is but I know Grimsby would be keen to take him back on loan
