You deserved it today.

I thought overall that the game was quite equal, but at the end of the day you are quality on the break and your players were too much for our fullbacks, and Colo going off really destroyed us.

I'm not going to cry on about Ruiz or anything else.

We lost our captain and it ****ed us up at the back, you were too much for us on the break. Simple as.

Well done. I think 3-0 may have flattered you a bit, but you deserved the win because you produced the quality when you had the chances.
 
Great fans the Geordies. Imagine the whining from scouse spuds manure if the luis decision had gone against them. Newcastle fans have more class

Considering we got a very dodgy penalty decision last week, I think we are in no position to have a go at referee's incompetence!
 
I'm sure Newcastle will be top 6, but I have a sneaking suspicion they might make the top 4. To do this they need to get very active in January to load on board a solid central defender and a creative midfielder! It is a must for them , and they will reap the rewards!

I would say top 7 is more realistic mate.

I would have still been really positive, even after a 3-0 defeat, but unfortunately Steven Taylor is injured and out for 6 weeks or even the full season if he needs an op. And Colo is out for the next 1-2 weeks.

That's both our first choice cb's out.

This <ok>

I was one of the people on the Man United board last week telling them to stop whining about the penalty decision. Would have been hypocritical of me to blame our loss on the Luiz decision today. Still think it was a red, but just one of those things you need to accept.
 
The result flattered us, but overall I think we just edged it in a great match! Your goalie is mustard!!!

We've known this about Krul since his debut in the UEFA Cup aged 17...Palermo were top of the Italian League and had just beaten AC Milan at the weekend, we had major injury crisis and handed debuts to 17 year old Krul and 17 year old Andy Carroll - we were written off by the pundits but won the game 1:0 due to Krul's heroics!
