Not depressing at all. Gabby is one of our own -- we gave him the chance to further his ambitions, helped him develop along the way, and it's pleasing to see him finding his feet at a higher level. It's a satisfying crossing of paths for both him and us. And while we watch Gabby prosper further from afar, right in front of us we can watch the next young talent following the same path in yellow and green. Brilliant!

He is the model for player development with us. He left a gentleman, unlike a couple of others did this year

Thomas Tuchel announced as England manager.
Can't say I'm over excited about this.

Far better choice than Southgate / Carsley / Potter / Howe or any of the other English names banded around.
Never going to get Klopp or Pep, so best of what else is out there.

When, eight or so years ago, the newly appointed Daniel Farke was asked about what style of football Norwich fans could expect, he answered "more Tuchel than Klopp". Typical that the FA has only now managed to catch up with the German bandwagon, just as it has ground to a halt. They should have scoured Denmark .......

Erik ten Hag has been sacked as Manchester United manager. The club confirmed the news in a statement on their official website on Monday morning.

Ruud van Nistelrooy, who was appointed as one of Ten Hag’s assistants in the summer, has been placed in temporary charge as interim head coach until a permanent replacement is found.

Ten Hag’s dismissal comes just 115 days since United opted to extend his contract by 12 months after the club’s hierarchy decided against sacking him in the wake of a two-and-a-half internal review and conversations with at least six other managers.

Good. Long may it continue. On Sky Sports News, the top 15 sporting headlines are comprised of nine about Manure and a few other sports are allotted one each.

And the entire Real Madrid squad and staff boycotted the event just because Vinicius Jnr didn't win the Ballon d'Or! (He came 2nd) How arrogant can you be?!

I boycotted the event too, on account of Martínez being awarded the Yashin Trophy.

I boycotted the event because I had no interest in watching a bunch of over inflated egos present meaningless trophies to a bunch of younger over inflated egos in front of an audience of rich boys and girls.

I was the lucky one. I had no idea it was happening. Thankfully.

Just seen the Arsenal fixture list for January. They have nine (9) games listed. This is ridiculous. 5 EPL, two Champions, one FA Cup and one Carribou Cup.

Not only ridiculous to the players but also to the fans who support them home and away. And when the punishing schedule of this season is finished the Clubs involved in the new FIFA farce called the Club World Cup can travel here there and everywhere during the summer returning just in time for the start of the 1925/26 Season. Somehow this nonsense has got to be stopped.

Ex-Norwich City head coach Alex Neil has been confirmed as Millwall’s new boss.
Neil signed a ‘long term’ deal with the Lions and will be joined at the New Den by his former Stoke City assistant, Martin Canning.
The Canaries former play-off winning manager has been out of work since leaving the Potters 12 months ago.

Which, under different names, we have won twice. Don't belittle it.
