- - Sunday 22nd December 2024 3;00pm Well city move onto another tough away day in the midlands at WBA. WBA drawing 4 of their last six games-winning one and losing one. Bristol City 3 losses 2 draws and one win in the last six games. A familiar tell of doing what we do best not winning games. Do i think this will end in a draw nope. A nailed on WBA home win I'm going 3-1 to them I just don't see where the goals are coming from when we play-Powder puff-lame-Goal Shy all comes to mind. WBA will have to much for us to deal with-another sold out away end city fans deserve so much more than what is being served up. JL said we were in for a upgrade and better league position-well Jon Lansdown we are still waiting.
Sadly I won’t make this as I will be in London watching Paul McCartney at the O2, followed by a flight to Gdansk for Christmas. For those who ARE going, I strongly recommend The Vine for a pre-match pint and snack. It’s a pub - with an Indian grill - and the food is delicious (assuming you like Indian food of course!) Enjoy - and let’s hope for an (unlikely) 3 points.
In the 70's we always got there at noon for a 3pm kick off. Parked 50yards from our turnstiles and went in their Throstles club, great beer and never a hint of trouble. This weekend's game is, as usual, impossible to call.
I will be there. Got a good mate who’s a Baggies fan, and he shouts me a corporate ticket through his business. This has draw written all over it.
Nahki Wells update We've been told that it is just a minor issue keeping Nahki Wells out of the City side today, sounds like nothing to be too worried about. (BristolPost)
THATS A BUMMER unless its a rotational thing. We have 5 games in 14 days, after today we have 3 days game 2 days games 2 days game 2 days game ... 6 days game. A STAY AT HOME DO LIGHT TRAINING HAVE A CHRISTMASY BREAK might freshen Wells up or make sure he can play in a couple over the period
Bollocks. Our most experienced striker injured - when goal scoring is a struggle for us anyway. Looks like a 0-0 draw will be the best result we can hope for
No Harry Cornick Another thing to note from the City team, there is no place for Harry Cornick on the bench. The forward hasn't played a minute in the Championship this season and you have to wonder if we may have seen the last of him in City colours. (Bristol Post)
Didn’t think I’d be saying this after last season, but Dickie is starting to look like the weak link in our defence the last few games.
