Yes the whole thing fizzled out and I was disappointed that there would be more instead of finishing it.

I don't do ratings until a series is over but right now One Hundred Years of Solitude is a 10 never given one before and I may not still but **** me it's good.

i did 2 series on his recommendation which to me is the equivalent of 12 for most on here

it's not awful but it isn't all that imo

 

The first season of True Detective would suggest otherwise.
