True, they ain't staying up now no matter what

perhaps best to just keep hold, wait for the parachute payment.

Honestly martins a bit crap. He finished 7th and scraped up through playoffs. Trying to play out was the same garbage Kompany stuck with, if you haven’t the players don’t even try.

Didn't watch the game but heard some controversy. What happened?

The standard cheating ****e of trying to get a player sent off, was a flare up with Walker and Hojlund, and Hojlund put his forehead against Walker's, Walker waits for the slightest touch, and then goes down writhing and screaming. Both players got yellows, Walker should have been sent off for being such a prick.

This is the thing - the yellow each is right in the first instance, for unnecessary aggression, which should've been the punishment we witnessed with Schar/Diaz. Then there should be a yellow card for Walker for simulation - that's the rules. So Walker (and Diaz) should be the ones walking with two yellows. I think the fact the lawmakers bow down to this cheating **** has been an abomination for years.

It's just been a loophole cheaters can exploit for years - ie go down screaming when another player touches foreheads with you to get them sent off.

But it's so well known now the players should know not to go in with their foreheads, hence Schar was ****ing stupid.

Brighton were doing it yesterday aswell. Diving about all over the pitch. I hate diving.

Just trying to get freekicks and players booked.

Bruno does it. He did it in the last match to try and get a penalty.

Agree - there should be massive punishments for people doing this stuff - regardless of if it is seen by VAR or not - its cheating. Walkers one yesterday was a joke (much like the aforementioned Diaz) trying to get a player sent off for nothing - and while Bruno's wasn't as bad - I honestly wouldn't mind a match ban to stop people throwing themselves into contact like that, he's on his way down before the player is even close to him and then pushes his leg over and into the players planted foot... it's not hard to spot in the replay.

Lucky he got a way with it because if he'd been sent off a min later for the tackle he WAS booked for that game goes out the window.

You’re quite right he should have been booked.

I think retrospective bans should come in specifically for cheating.

In this instance I don’t think any NUFC would deny he dived.

But Walkers was just ****.

Have you seen Rasmus Twitter post. It’s brilliant.
