Just a single point separates the two teams, so a win for one of them would be a big step forward. Watford have a home record that few predicted before the season started, but at some point the Vic fans will be disappointed.

Losing just two of their first 20 matches of the league schedule, it is no surprise that West Brom are competing near the top of the division, but a record-breaking 11 draws have left Carlos Corberan's side hanging onto the playoff spots.

Team News

No news as yet, but we can expect changes from the team that started Wednesday.

Gavin Ward?
Mrs Fez and I have been feeling proper rough this past week or so, and this has just about sealed the lid on me staying home. Absolute horse's arse in my opinion.
Did you see that shocking decision at the City Ground not to give Villa a penalty today? Ref, linesman and VAR should all face consequences. Worst decision I’ve seen in a long time and none of them have any excuse, imho.

The offside “goal “ for Forest was harsh too I thought tbh.

Bruno G was definitely fortunately not to be sent off for Newcastle too .

Then he scored!

Kind of sums up the VAR problem really - another day a lot of decisions will be different.

If the decision can’t be made in twenty seconds by the VAR then the on-field decision should be accepted, I think. The purpose of the rule is to avoid goal-hanging, which would still be achieved without this ludicrous pedantry. Of course, linesmen and women would have to go back to making decisions…

That one really did seem to be literally just his shirt hanging out a bit !

Agree needs to be a limit to the time period .

Mind you probably helped Forest in the end .

If Tom has any balls then YES

They are quite defensive and safety first themselves so something will have to give otherwise could be a dull boring game - which they probably win.

So might be the time to try something different and play Baah/Vata and hope we can get a performance out of them from the start?

I shall investigate...
As an aside,we don't do too badly with Gavin Ward but it's usually a bit of a wind up from him. I'm staying home, in the warm.

Tom's unleashed the super subs from the start. Better start well as bench is lame.

Going to miss the game as got to head out to Lagos de Moreno now.

Enjoy.

Baah and Vata starting. Many have asked for this, so we will see if it works.
Well surely we have to be on the front foot with then in the team ?

That is why Baah wasn’t that good when he started before as we didn’t give him the ball .
