Teachers are thinking of going on strike because they are not going to be offered a huge above inflation pay rise by the Labour Education Secretary, Bridget Phillipson. please log in to view this image She is clearly the product of the failing State education system in a declining old town in the North East called Sunderland. Coming from a Leftie brainwashing environment, she cannot put achievement ahead of ideology. When she was asked to praise the top performing State school, Michaela Community School, run by Katharine Birbalsingh in a deprived area of London, she baulked at the opportunity to acknowledge a State school that has better results than some selective fee-paying schools that she ideologically despises. Ms Birbalsingh’s old school teaching methods achieve results that the rest of the State sector should be following; and turn out aspirational youngsters that probably won’t vote Labour.
Let’s sell off all the council houses, then build thousands of box units for oligarchs in Hong Kong, Saudi and Moscow to buy up as investments. Yay, capitalism!
How about we build loads of apartments & fill them with foreighners & let the tax payers fund it instead ? That's what your marvellous mayor is doing because his tribe live too far from all the mosques we're building courtesy of the tax payers. Saudis own very few properties but the Hong Kong (British) are buying them because we decolonised their home & gave it back to China. All those disgusting yellow peeps bringing their money here & contributing to the capital eh ?
Rents would be much cheaper if we had a properly regulated private rental sector. That was never going to happen with the likes of Grant Schapps in government (he owns 40 former Council flats in Westminster). Let’s see what happens now.
Clarkes aren’t made in Northampton anymore, all outsourced to Bangladesh etc. That’s the free market for you.
