I think the best think for the lad would be to go and get 20-odd games in the Championship where he's playing week in, week out and hopefully grabbing 7+ goals in the process. I'd have thought an in form team battling for promotion would be a good shout - do Sunderland have space for a striker?
I’m not sure what he’d get out of playing in the championship. He’s way too good for it. He’s shown he’s good enough for the premier league. I think he would be suited to someone like Leicester for a short loan period.
Apparently we're very much still interested in getting zubimendi for the 6 role, gravenberch has been superb playing there for us, arguably the best midfielder in the prem this season.
Evan Ferguson would apparently love to come to Leicester on loan in January to learn from 2 of his footballing heroes - Ruud van Nistelrooy and Jamie Vardy .... Yes please ...
He was looking like a superstar in the making when he broke through, dropped into obscurity very quickly. You'd probably be better off going for a more experienced player... Like Richarlison.
Richarlison's ego would rule him out from wanting to learn ... and, in fairness, he's already found his level ... ... and is getting remunerated handsomely for it ...
Sell Darwin and Jota, both too unreliable for different reasons. Add a proper dm and a cb, and possibly another forward depending on if jota and Darwizzy can be moved on.
