Still not with you here - when has any of this happened, or appear to be happening? There has been speculation that Kelleher might leave, based on his abilities and wanting to be no.1 somewhere - but that would be his choice. As far as I can see the only suggestion that Ali might leave has been media bollocks about him going to Saudi - again his choice. If Kelleher goes it leaves a gap, and Alisson has been a bit injury prone, so bringing in another experienced keeper makes sense - no-one is being pushed out as far as I can see.
Just seen this elsewhere; I love Nunez but get what this post is getting at, he needs to do better. However, my issue is with the poor choice of words... "his general play is pretty poor" ...this is extremely inaccurate! His general play is superb, his attacking play is the bit thats questionable ffs
I don't think he's a bad player, he's just not a Slot player (less so than he was a Klopp player even). He does best cutting in wildly from the wing, when he can pull off some magical shot from distance. He does better the more difficult the shot... Give him a tap-in and he'll overthink it. He's not good at cold-calculating football either. He needs to play in a free-form plucky team that relies on speed and counters, not a disciplined team that builds up. Sell him while people still remember how good he can be.
It sounds sensible, but I don't think any of those players, do what they do because of the money. They want to feel valued and be successful. I honestly don't think whether their pay is based on high base pay or low base/high bonuses make one bit of difference to how they actually perform.
It sounds great until you step into the real world. Lfc are not the only destination or possibility so to act like you are in a negotiation after letting it get this close would be stupid. Let's be clear. Van dijk could.just as easily walk into real madrid on better money even with alaba and military who are injured and rudiger would love to play with him. He'd certainly stroll into Barca and they'd worship at his feet. Lfc would have to pay of lose. It's thst simple. Salah has plenty of options too. 350k a week? Easy. It's 20mil a year and on a free he could demand 20mil up front and thst 20mil and still have a queue.
How can any of them not? The fans love all three and show it every game. They're well paid regardless of what they want to get too
Ego says is casemiro gets 350k a week at utd or kdb or haalandnmore at city that you deserve the same.just out of respect. What lfcncan or can't afford is not their problem
Who knows. We will only know when someone tells us. Salah is very loud about it. Firmino was not. Mane didn't even bother to address which fans of his were getting exciting news and should have been dropped for the cl final. Personally I was sorry for firmino how bad it went for him despite himmgoing to Saudi and not taking a decent level of foot all but I was delighted for how madly man's career went. Salah seems to be getting annoyed with lfc which seems to suggest he wants to stay so only time will tell. Vvd is not as obvious. I couldn't say what he will do at all. Trent is disappointing but more unforgivable regarding the club who know what they get for the money.
No matter who you are, whether you're a construction worker, an electrician, or a football player, no one ever wants to take a pay cut. Doesn't matter if your body can't do the work you did 10 years ago, you don't want to take a pay cut, I get that. Salah and VVD arn't going to be as valuable as they are today forever- so obviously its difficult to work something out. Trent is a completely different problem, his ego is bigger than his ability- he's not worth less than he was, he just wants more than he's worth. If Real are willing to pay that, we may have to let him go.
