I think it'll be a forward who can occupy multiple positions across the frontline. I think that's what we brought Isidor in to do but he's much better as the 9 in our system.
He said he has put his furniture back but some of his boxes are still packed. He must be gutted as seemed to be gagging to come here and seeing how we are going must have him thinking what could have been. We won't pay the price quoted especially as he's another 6 months older in his 30.s. I feel sorry for the lad TBH . Am sure Mendy worked under RLB years ago as a youth as well
Even for the players that come here and don't quite make it, I think it stands them in good stead for the next challenge. Ekwah has learned a lot and got a bit more edge that he'll have brought to his game with Saint-Etienne. Hopefully it will be the same for Bennette and Aouchiche when they leave. Ba had some canny moments and goals for us - not sure where his carer goes next. The lads got talent but that's nowt without the application.
