Thursday 28th November 8pm
Europa League Group Stage
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Vicario joins Richarlison, Odobert, Romero, van de Ven and Moore on the treatment table.
Bentancur's ban does not apply in this competition, but Lankshear is suspended and Spence is ineligible.

Lineups for each side's last league game:

Spurs: Vicario; Porro, Dragusin, Davies, Udogie; Sarr, Bissouma, Maddison; Kulusevski, Solanke, Son.
Subs: Forster, Spence, Hardy, Gray, Olusesi, Bergvall, Johnson, Werner, Lankshear.
League form: LWLWLW.

Roma: Svilar; Celik, Mancini, Ndicka, Tasende; Faraone, Kone, Cristante, Pisilli; Pellegrini; Dovbyk.
Subs: Ryan, Marin, Abdulhamid, Sangare, Hummels, Dahl, Parades, Le Fee, Baldanzi, Soule, Zalewski, Dybala.
League form: LLWLLL.

Ref: Glenn Nyberg (SWE). VAR: Pol van Boekel (NED).
Boekel's been involved in some "controversial" moments for us, including the CL final and Kane v Sporting.

TV: BT Sport.

How would you like to line up for this one and how do you think we actually will line up?

v Roma:

Forster
Porro Radu Davies Udogie
Sarr Bentancur Bergvall
Johnson Solanke Werner/Moore

Then for Fulham:

Forster
Spence Romero Radu Davies
Sarr Bissouma
Kulusevski Maddison Son
Solanke

I think there's a decent balance to both sides and plenty of rotation at the start of a ludicrously busy stretch.

Hoping Moore features at some point, although the 'virus' he came down with 3 weeks ago appears to be the Bubonic plague.

I think Gray will start the Roma game ahead of Porro allowing Porro to play V Fulham and Spence to play LB.

Kulu and Solanke may have to play half each v Roma

I got confused because I did see it on Amazon but I didn’t notice that it was linked to TNT which is available via Amazon.

All the games have been on TNT so far, I think they all will be. A bonus for me as Virgin gave me TNT when I said I was leaving (as well as halving the monthly cost!) I wasn't actually angling for a better deal, I really wanted to leave.

All Europe games are on TNT/BT apart from the occasional CL game. Man City last night for example. All Europa and Conference games in Europe are on TNT.

I’m having to pay the full subscription but I’m not happy about it! That’s on top of Now TV for the PL matches. I would be happy streaming unofficially but my kids moan incessantly when the streaming goes Pete Tong.

Ange has confirmed Vicario will be out for "months". I doubt we'll see him back before March tbh. These things can take 3-4 months to fully recover. Which means the most critical phase of the season will be reliant on Forster.

If it goes as badly as many fear, I hope we do the brave thing in January and buy an upgrade.

It's interesting that Ange ruled out bringing in a free agent keeper in January - but only a free agent

“There's young Luca [Gunter] but to be fair he's been injured so he's not really ready. Brandon's improving all the time and Alfie's been at the club for a while.”

So basically I’ve got as much chance as playing as Alfie Whiteman then <laugh>

That's just brutal! <laugh>
I doubt we'll ever find out if either of them had any real potential, unfortunately.

Basically saying Whiteman’s just a fart that still lingers lol.

I know CK has often criticised both him and Austin for not seeking to be first choice down the leagues but I genuinely don’t blame either sticking around, the fact Austin penned a 5 year deal in the summer too it’s sort of the dream job if you’re a keeper that’s perhaps not destined for the top; train for a bit, get a good seat at games, go home and chill whilst earning about £5k-£10k a week. It’s doubtful you’d get that wage at most league one clubs, let alone league two.
