The subs were completely ineffective. Mayenda is not able to play on the left - he even got moved central before the end because he did nothing. Alese offered nothing going forward and almost got caught out twice defensively.

West Brom played very narrow and I'm not sure Roberts went outside his man once. Rigg was poor but there wasn't a great deal of movement to help him create.

Motm for me is probably Hume for me, but I don't think anyone was more than a 7/10.

Most of the results in this run have been fine in isolation but 5 draws in a row and only 3 goals scored has to raise some questions - especially when 1 of those goals was Cirkin's wonder strike and hardly evidence of us creating enough.

We def looked flat in the final 3rd, too many caught on their heals, too many not anticipating where the ball might go, noone creating space for teammates too run into

We have to start using the bench, I keep saying it but we are not using the bench effectively and it will kill us in the end

Most of the starting line up have played so many minutes already and you can see the sharpness is going

As I said not the worst performance, thought we were very good oit of possession

I am walking over the bridge now and I am just bored. We didn't have a go. That's annoying.

Not the worst performance tbh but we aren't creating enough at the minute and again we need to use our bench better

Rigg and Roberts were offering nothing, yet both stayed on - connolly should have been on for one of them at least

Thought Neil and Jobe were good at controlling things in CM and we were solid at the back

Set pieces were a joke and our lack of movement in the box is a massive concern for me

Can't argue with that. Coupled with their defence was pretty solid.
I'll take the point. I posted this is where we could lose top spot.
Test now is to get it back.
Transfer window looming.
Players coming back from injury or suspension. Hopefully we push on and back up to top.

Rigg made a bit of play but I was crying for the ambition to bring Connolly in at 10 second half.
Rigg just looked so leggy tonight, he should never have played the 90 minutes

I am concerned about the lack of subs, I mentioned it when we were winning so it's not a reaction to 5 draws in row. If you do not use your bench in the championship you will fall away as the season goes on

Proof today our issue isn't finishing chances, its creating them. From the start till Pompy, we took 95% of our chances. Then again we took our chances vs Hull and Luton.

Sheffield United is must win if we wanna maintain a top 2 ambition. We are more than capable on our day of taking the piss out of them, but they've got Hamer, Rak Sakyi amongst others, who are top players at this level.
.
It's too negative man. We can not just control little boxes with certain places and not make subs. Why are we not changing shape to try and win.

I think the subs issue will be discussed in one of the regular reviews. It is looking odd. Connolly was surely worth 10 mins tonight, just to create that little bit of a poachers movement. It is frustrating to watch them in and around the box at the minute.

We literally nearly scored from our first attack after mayender and alese came on.

It’s like we haven’t learned from Jobe last season. These lads have massive potential but to expect a 17 year old lad to play 40+ games against blokes who’ve been doing it for years, over the course of the season is just nonsensical.

It’s a compliment, they treat us like the big club and the opposition as underdogs.
I suppose so but I would prefer balanced commentary that’s fair in its assessment rather than negative towards us and quite frankly ridiculous at times. I don’t see similar when Man City play just fawning admiration in general.

We had a player who’s scored at this level and scored Saturday on the bench. That seemed a no brainer in a goalless game. Though before Mayend came on I’d probably have had him on for Roberts and pushed Connolly into the middle. He clearly isn’t a fan of Aouchiche or Rusyn so we need rid and clearly doesn’t think Aleksic is ready yet.

Jeezus. How many did patto have to save? <laugh>
We had the lions share of shots. Granted not the best but let's be realistic FFS <laugh>

I am. If we want to get promoted I expect us to win 1 out of 5 games.

Well don't jump mate FFS <laugh> because from where I was watching we put a shift in against a decent side, especially defensively.
Could of been a bit sharper and creative in the final third but again. They had a good game .
.I am good mate. Just was a bit boring and wish I stayed in the warm.

Rather predicable and I think wba feel that too.
