4-0 did flatter spurs. City had plenty of chances and on another day Haaland puts 2 of them away at 0-0 and it’s very different game.

Yeah and this is the sort of thing that starts to happen when you’re on a rough patch, feels like you just can’t catch a break.

I said a few weeks back we have to be ruthless whilst this is going on and hopefully we will be today :emoticon-0165-muscl

You probably know what my worry is

1. I think a slip up today is possible can’t help that
It’s the way I think
2. The City team are still good and still a danger - that spurs game could have been over before spurs’ first goal had City taken their very good chances

someone will get an ass whooping at some point -
Hope it’s not next week

Agree to an extent, but also once Spurs scored and thought ‘hang on a minute, let’s actually play them’ they were awful and second best to everything.

They look a bit old and off the pace, you have to be brave and go at them, which we would do regardless of their form.

That's the thing. City had a plan to target breaks and they really targeted gvardiol going forward and gundogan not covering anything.

Spurs went inside into space but at 0-2 the game was going nowhere and another break happened nobody tracked anyone and it was 3. Suddenly city pinned spurs in.

They simply couldn't convert even though spurs hardly looked sensational.

Bit of a shame that they've got another game against Feyenood to find some confidence before they play us. Unless Feyenoord get the hammering that @Sauerkraut Inia is worried about.

It's casual racism that if you allow it then you encourage it. So this is one where you suck it up. We made a big mistake deciding suarez couldn't have said it cos it was against a Manc.

But again John terry.

So this is a case of another easy target to slap a big ban on so they have done so.

If really all he said was "they all look the same" in a joking manner, he's a twat for saying that, but personally think a ban is a bit extreme. Fine him half a weeks wages, demand he publicly apologize.

Ban seems a bit silly and draconian for something, which, whereas it was insensitive, doesn't appear to have intended to be harmful... Intent matters most of all.
