An even better option than Jones would've been Middlemass who has played first team football I believe, albeit at a very low level...but again...its done
Had the misfortunate to listen to BBC commentary on our game for 20 mins today. **** me it's awful. Barnes is about 3 seconds behind the play and seems to forget he's commentating on the radio rather than tv. Awful
I think he did. He played as a second striker the second he came on and the chance at the end shows it. It was a mistake to play him like that.
They had 9 shots inside the box though, was it really as quiet as people are making out? Could’ve all been from corners mind, I’m just asking the question as I didn’t watch
This isn’t gona be a popular post but it’s a team game you can use 5 subs a lot of the lads were knackered
Can't say conceding that goal is all on O'Nien by any means, both the CBs and Patterson could have prevented it. He could have done better but not accurate to say he cost us points.
Already explained after I think his error was one of the worst in the goal but he’s not sole tk blame. Everyone could’ve done better there
Had to drop the wife off at a conference in Milton Keynes today, so went to me mams for the day, about 40 minutes away, and started watching the match there. The 30 mins delay meant I had to quickly subscribe to the radio pass so I could listen to the 2nd half in the car so she wouldn't be left kicking around MK for an hour and a half. Got to within about 5 miles of her and they equalized at the precise moment I was due to turn off the motorway. Fuming, woke the bairns up in the back, missed the exit...quick glance down at the sat nav...10 ****ing miles before I could turn around to do the said 10 miles again the opposite way back down the motorway, in the pissing down rain, traffic crawling along at 40/50! I've always said there is nowt worse than the feeling of conceding a last minute equalizer...there is!
So, WBA next then. What we thinking? Patterson Hume Mepham O'Nien Alese Rigg Neil Jobe Roberts Isidor Watson Bench should look a lot stronger too
Yeah that's what I'd go with, if Cirkin is fit for it then I'd bring him back in but sounds like he might miss next weeks games
After 4 crap draws in a row, I will take solace that we are on an upward trajectory still. Concerning the second half performance by the sounds of it, but we're having no luck at moment either. If not this season, next . But I'd rather go up this season to keep hold of Rigg and Jobe.
I’m in disagreement with a concerning second half performance but a lot of people want us to be constantly pressing out which I understand
Found this on facebook Sunderland AFC News And Banter Page Sunderland’s 1-1 draw against Millwall means that they have now picked up 32 points from 16 Championship games this season, their best start at this level since 1998-99 (34), when they eventually won the league
