Henderson saves Tielemans’ penalty and within a minute Palace go up the other end and score to go 2-1 up.

Love those sorts of goals, from dreading going down a goal to banging one in yourselves.

Everton snatched a red card from the jaws of a goal... weird one.. no common sense but by the rules it's a red.

Our players have been off the pitch for over 20 minutes now because of a medical emergency in the stands. Why does play stop because of that? ****ing stupid.

This happened at the toon vs Tottenham a few seasons back. It provided some entertainment because a bloke got lamped for recording the incident by some tattooed ****wit Neanderthal.... I had front row seats for the altercation.... the bloke scurried out holding the rails on his way down...highly entertaining

Because someones life is more important than a football match.

When watched in real time you can 100% see why he has to go for the ball. You can argue that there's bad luck that he ends up getting Pickford in the way he did but that's got to be a red I think and he's got to be glad that Pickford doesn't get a serious injury from it. Brentford haven't been the better team overall, a draw so far seems fair.

Yes it is. How does stopping the match help that, though?

I’ve been to plenty of games when a fan has fallen ill and medical teams rush to them. The game was never stopped. It’s only a new thing that’s been happening recently and it’s daft.

Less noise and comotion basically, helps the medics do their job easier.

But were the fans in trouble in the previous games just Sunderland fans? Probably not worth stopping for that really.

Apparently we are playing the last 5 mins of the first half soon. Stopping for a very short break and then playing the second half. It’s basically a 40 minute first half and 50 minute second half game.

I imagine Jordan just brushed the muck from his leg and carried on.

I really like Pickford and always have. I can understand why many of our fans have a go at him (and he gives it back and it's all fair enough really) but no idea why he still seems to be underrated around the country, he's clearly Englands number 1 and has been for ages.

Yeah. He’s got his weaknesses like everyone else but for me there’s no doubt he’s Englands number 1. He doesn’t even have any competition for the shirt, at the moment.

If someone having a heart attack, maybe the shock of a goal brings them back from the near dead.
