Match 16 of the season sees West Bromwich take on the Canaries at the Hawthorns at 3pm.

WBA:
5th Place on 25 points.
NCFC:14th place with 18 points.

WBA Recent EFL form: W D D D D D
NCFC
Recent EFL Form: L L L D D D

Perhaps we have a decent opportunity to recover some of our earlier good form with players coming back from injury, however Norwich has 4 players a card away from a one match ban. McClean we know is out for this game, and Fisher, Doyle and Nunez are a yellow away from causing more selection problems for Thorup. It may be a game too soon anyway for Nunez, but how we'd love him back. We have failed to hit the net in the last 2 games and WBA has also had their own goalscoring problems.

West Brom have their own injury problems- particularly in defence. Manager Corberan: “We are talking about three specific centre-backs who have had injuries at the same time, all within a week. It is what it is and it will be a challenge for us as a team and for individuals too."

This might offer us some hope, and with the international break giving Thorup the chance to reset, let's hope we add a W to our recent form.

Gunn back is perhaps the pick of the crop there...but then I'm probably stating the bleeding obvious

Great thread China. Gunn back is certainly great news. Slimane started against Bristol and will probably partner Sørensen again. The others on the bench most likely though Hernandez could start.

Expecting to see Onel at some point. We're not moving Sainz around so perhaps Crnac back to the right and Onel up top?
The possibility has been mentioned. He would certainly improve our counterattacking with his pace. Crnac lacks that, though he's getting better at controlling long passes. Marcondes played up front against Bristol without success, though he did hit the post with a header.

I think Crnac has got more physical from game to game.
I would expect a lineup similar to below

Gunn

Fisher Duffy Cordoba Doyle

Sorensen
Slimane Marcondes

Crnac Barnes Sainz

I think that's about right, but with Slimane partnering Sørensen and Marcondes tucking in behind either Barnes or Hernandez as it's a tough away game.

If we end up 3 or 4 points off the pace at the end of the season, I will be laying the blame at McClean’s door. His moment of madness has ended up just getting worse and worse.
