Beer for me when I do go but I can't seem to do the coffee thing.... paying out your arse for it in those places. I went in I believe Costa and was looking at the options and thinking where the hell is a cup of coffee on here.
Had a pigs in blanket toastie and an Americano in Costa just yesterday. The festive toasties are lovely but, **** me, five quid a pop ffs.
I had a season ticket for more years than I care to remember, plus a healthy away day experience every season, and the one constant was I never had a coffee. A couple of pints, but never coffee mate
The last time I was there was 2015 / 16 - my mother-in-law lives about 14 miles away and I managed to co-ordinate one of our 'visits' so that I could go to the game ... got there early in the morning as I had to get a ticket to sit in the home end... once ticketed had a walk round - popped into the club shop to get my missus an Ospreys top then had a very nice coffee in the Starbucks as I whiled away some time - suspect I had a pint of lager in the ground but no more - Heddlu are **** hot and unforgiving with drink drivers ... we won 3-0 - only disappointment was (if I recall rightly) that Vardy's 11 game consecutive scoring run came to an end - was a Mahrez hat-trick - marvellous days ... Been back to the Morfa several times since but not for footie ... several coffees
I was at that game. My middle son (he was 6) decided he was a Leicester fan because of that, picked the winners basically. We'd sat in the premier seats, hospitality and that. That didn't last!
One of my memories (could now be suspect! ) ... was that Vardy had a pretty good opportunity to shoot - which might have kept his record scoring run going - but instead squared it to Mahrez for a tap in ... and the rest is now history ...
Are you including that utterly savage takedown of Fosses repulsive personality (©Welshie) in that? I missed anymore if there was any tbh
I went back to check the nuggets of wisdom we got yesterday from professor Luv and figure you must be referring to this:
