I'm guessing a 65k stadium tbh
I think its more the Corporate side, I remember reading the options for Corporate at the current stadium would be limited and that's where the money isPersonally unless we are talking a massive increase in capacity (say 75k+) there's no real point moving on from SJP.
Better off trying to add to the Gallowgate End and re-develop the Milburn and Lease's stands to increase capacity if we are looking to get to 60-65k - maybe just shy of 70k but not sure moving for an additional 10,000-15,000 seats is worth it if you can get say 8,000-10,000 more in the current stadium.

Prefer it over 70,000 so we could finally silence the Mackem claim to the biggest crowd lolI'm guessing a 65k stadium tbh
I don’t think they’ll issue new season tickets regardlessIt would probably be a sweet amount.. there's about 30k in the queue at times for tickets, but not all 30 will want season tickets.
If they success comes they can always increase it potentially... looks like we need to live another decade.
Tash and TB are 23000 of them anyway. It would probably be a sweet amount.. there's about 30k in the queue at times for tickets, but not all 30 will want season tickets.

Whatever happens it'll be better than what's there Today. All the people bleating on about heritage ? Don't they realise there was something there before the park?
Not sure but I don't think that applies everywhere, for example, Scotland. Also if they keep advertising to foreign markets and tourism then they'll make more money that way.
But what about the likes of poor Trev? He's only just figured out how to find St James' after 87 years of going. If they move he won't have a clue how to get to games.Full story.... I suppose nothing has changed ... no decision made so could be either way, but for me I sense the new stadium will be the preferred option.
It's just easier and will bring more £££ which means they can get more players of a higher quality..... football is moving on and if Newcastle get caught up in this nonsense about hallowed turf when it's been replaced thousands of times they'll get left further behind.
The opportunity is for Newcastle to have one of the best and biggest grounds anywhere in the world, so it's a no brainer imo.
The location is the best thing they'll lose, but who's to say they can't build one fairly close to the current location ?
