It was excellent, tbh after a couple of intense of Wild God,I said these songs will work better live, they have that feel about them. Jubilee Street, song of the night, not my favourite on WG but I thought Joy was the best off that, not a lot to choose between any of the them.
When the vocalist is playing, I don't take much notice of the guitar skills, but yeah she seems OK - knows her basic chords and the dreaded F. Strumming seemed OK too, accenting as well.
I'm distracted by the backing track, also if he is actually playing that it looks out of sync. But the YouTube comments suggest he's a genius so who am I to argue. The sync bit could just be he is behind on the second guitar in the track. If he is playing then he makes it look effortless and thus a child progidy, but I guess you are asking because you suspect like I suspect something don't look right but I'm trying to look on my phone while listening through an ear piece in and it's time for some sleep! Edit: Just relooked this morning and he's got his own channel, so it shows what I know. I think the effortlessness he puts into it throws in the doubt, but with young fingers he's having to adapt. It was easier to tell watching some of his other videos - an example being this one...
Not bad for an 8 yr old tho I spend more time on YouTube going through the sixties to eighties songs and occasionally find something like this This was the original Found stuff from Sade from a concert in 2011 and she looked and sounded fantastic
Excellent for an 8 year old, feel bad even doubting his ability. I've never been into 60's music, from the sense of people like the Shadows and the Beatles, also some 60's rock does my nut in too. However, Sade I had one of her albums, t loved her music, not many female vocalists I liked. I'd include Donna Summer and Kate Bush in that loved category as well. Taylor Swift is ok as well, I think with her I more like that she makes so many millions of little swifties happy with catchy tunes, we need more positive people in the world, even if her lyrics are not positive, but you look at how that turned out for her, and she must be a billionaire by now. I can remember six years or so back when all the kids suddenly wanted to play guitar and learn one of her songs lol, so she drives a positive influence.
This is Pachelbel's Canon in D, It can be played on acoustic First 16 seconds of video, one strum each chord, to start with, BM & F#m can be little awkward for beginners. Same thing, concentrate at the beginning to the left side of the screen. Start at 1.41 brings up tab on screen. All different versions and styles, it's what you make it.
Have always loved the music and put up a version of this a while back - here's the Olympic opening ceremony version (artist is completely bats btw! )
