They generally do ... but there have been many more 'legal' opportunities for the rich to dodge tax under Conservative Governments than under Labour ones ... not really surprising when you think of who the rich are more likely to vote for / make donations to ...
Still plenty of people dodging tax that aren't rich. Yup agree with going after the rich, but plenty of self employed people tax dodging, while the rest of us have to pay our dues.
Very true ... but if you are going fishing - far more cost effective to catch a few whoppers than hundreds of minnows ...
There’s a whole raft of tax advisors that have created an industry for themselves by advising the wealthy how to dodge tax. A lot of it aided and abetted by those that have been in power, feathering one’s own nest… I’m glad to see that Labour are trying to close these loopholes and I’m not surprised that the likes of Clarkson have jumped on it, trying to hoodwink people into believing it’s an assault on ordinary farmers. That’s an emotive issue, everybody wants food security and food that’s produced in the UK, but there’s an agenda here, a smokescreen to try and paint it as an attack on the working class, when it’s designed to make the wealthiest pay their fair share of tax.
Plenty of tax dodgers on here mate. I've always paid my tax and my full pension is paid up, I also pay a tv licence, despite hardly ever watching BBC live. I also pay all my subscriptions, sometimes I feel like I'm the one that's a mug. People will quite rightly point at the rich, but I'd like to see everyone looked at, regardless how small the tax dodge.
I think I might actually be due a rebate this year. There’s loads of stuff you can offset your tax contributions with if you’re self employed. Basically anything that you use for business use. I’ve never claimed for any of those things other than raw materials, and I’ve probably been overpaying for years.
Thing is. This pair of dickheads are probably going to get the case thrown out for impeding a fair trail
I dont see how if they're prosecuting privately. They have to gather their own evidence and such. Regardless.... It's a fuking joke that they have to do the CPS job for them. Thyve only had since juky last year ffs . In that time how many people have they jailed for naughty words, joke
The case is still live though. So the CPS should be left to deal with it. Farage just wants to milk it coz it’s brown people assaulting a copper
So what's the delay mate, that's the whole fuking point isn't it. Two tier policing. 24hiur courts set up to jail people with bad words on the Internet yet these two ****s can batter coppers on camera in an airport and nothing for months. Just open your eyes bro Oh and we let out someone convicted of plotting to bomb blue water shopping center released early to make room for the naughty words lot, It's a disgrace
So what's happened have the CPS said they are not proceeding with a prosecution, or are we still awaiting the outcome? I don't really care what Farage or anyone else thinks, just interested in the CPS side of things. I assume the police were still investigating it, and that could mean going through hundreds of cctv images, because what we saw was only the aftermath, none of us have seen what occurred on the mums flight in nor on entry through customs.
Nothing whatsoever. No word. No update from them at all. Obviously too busy jailing people in record time for bad words in the Internet innit. Pisses me off
