17 wickets in one day....exciting watch for you! Well,apart from Marnus....like watching paint dry! Two top class bowling attacks I think...making batting very difficult. Good to see Smith out first ball too! Looking forward to tomorrow.
To be honest I thought 150 was a decent total to play against. Australia didn’t bowl badly it’s just India were better. When Australia came in to bat the first over seemed as if they were going to go for it. Then they didn’t. When Smith came in the first thing Mrs K said was that he’ll be awesome or terrible. You can never tell with him. We got the terrible version Carey seemed to do ok but honestly he was the only one to play to the standard they all can. Labuschagne seemed rooted to the crease. It also didn’t help that we had three drunken idiots behind us who thought their chant of “Kohli is a ****er” every ten minutes was the funniest thing ever. On the plus side it was a day off work. Looking forward to The Ashes in November next year. Told Mrs K that we’ll have to wear the red n white stripes for that one. And of course I’ll be supporting England!!
It's always a pity when you get the drunken idiots somewhere near...spoils it,especially for the ladies. I admire your courage about the Ashes...imo,if we don't sort our batting out,Starc,Hazlewood,Cummins and Lyon are going to cause us severe pain! Can't you get Mrs K an England shirt.....I don't like to see our glorious team associated with an utter drubbing!
She does own an England football top. Wore it in 2018 when we watched the WC semi final on a big screen so it’s an old one.
No matter mate…. she can’t possibly wear our kit and get seen in the crowd when we’re suffering another humiliating defeat! Our street cred will be gone and it just won’t do!
Thing is, for our club to have found itself in the third tier of English football once, let alone twice, is a huge embarrassment in itself. And we wore our tops with pride then, even if some of the players didn’t. Look for us next year mate!!
