If there's one thing we've learnt today...

We MUST hang onto Tim Krul. He's the king.

Terrible result. Very gutting. We move on.

 

I think we've learnt several things today

1. Krul is unreal
2. Perch is actually half decent
3. Obertan is the most inconsistent player we have
4. Mike Dean is a **** ref

 

5. Raylor's honeymoon period is over. Needs to be replaced by Santon.
6. We missed Guti terribly.

Yeah Tim Krul is playing great atm, I expect a few bids to come in for him in January and/or in the summer.

The result really isn't that bad. Chelsea may have been a little off form recently but they're still a much much better team than we are. Anything we got from this was going to be bonus, the results against teams like this really don't matter that much.

3 - 0 was a little unfair, but the last two goals came with Taylor off the pitch, and I think they wouldn't have been scored had he been on.

 

Absolutely painful to watch so many posts hit...

Perch had a decent game, fair play to the lad!

 

If we get Colo, Taylor, Tiote back for the nest 3 games we could get 4-9 points easily.

 

We have a great spine of the team but the rest needs some serious improvement

 

The defensive organisation was poor after Colo went off. Obviously, Raylor was AWOL but all 3 of their goals were from poor defensive positioning. Perch didn't get close enough to Drogba for the 1st, in particular.

 

Bit harsh, considering he had to come on for Colo who is one of our top players. Forget the past cock ups and give the lad some credit where it's due!
