Good to get the win .

Very poor first half.

Much better second when we passed the ball foward and quicker .

Amazing what can happen when you do that .

Chakvetadze did well after the break as did Louza .

Ref was very anti us it seemed generally.

Oxford Utd were well organised but they don't quite have the quality to "win" games so much as making themselves hard to beat, very hard to beat... especially when the officials are as sympathetic to their cause as Backhouse was tonight.
Shocking display by the officials on the back of Darren England at home to Blackburn. I was kept informed by others watching on TV and advised that, yes, it was every bit as bad as it looked from the the stands.
A masterclass in cackhanded decision making that deserves more scrutiny into what looked like an obvious bias.
Bravo, ref. Quite the achievement!! A proper "hold my beer" performance.

Third team on the pitch were, ultimately, the winning team. Five bookings, three at least wholly undeserved [not you, Festy, yours was a genuine, bona-fide, one for the team] and one for an understandably frustrated TC.
This was a night when not much went right, some below par performances, but Watford ground out the win in trying circumstances.
Another goal for Bayo, seemed to take an age to go in, even that was harder work than it ought to have been!
Ground it out. We'd have lost this last season.

The first half was a very hard watch but the second half was very entertaining and for most of the half it was just a question of how many goals we would score

We do need to be more assured and clinical when we create chances and we need to tighten up in defence

How do referees like today and against Blackburn keep their jobs, surely the powers that be can see how bad they are unless they are following instructions

January should show how ambitious we are as a club, if we keep all the players we want to keep and strengthen the team then we are in a good place, if however we sell the players we need to make a profit then it must be Pozzo out

How about if we sell players to avoid going into, or reduce, debt?

Yes will be telling eh..if he sells anyone that is clear indication of lack of on the pitch ambition...

In the Prem that was a clear handball. The commentartor gor it all wrong. It was a, laso at least as much hsandball as Saturdays. Ref was grim , mostly through being incinsistent. We really should have had 3 or 4 second half. Still, 1 is enough for 3 points. Onward and upwards.
I said that at the time definitive penalty.

A top six Prem side would have got penalty there but earlier when Ebosele was tugged back twice a top six Prem side would have got a penalty and a red card for the defender

We got two penalties against Shef Weds for similar offences so the ELF must have sent out a directive about not giving Watford anything

When he went clean through?

Didn't a foul but have to look again.

Seemed to take too long to shot tbh.
