Becasue its a **** comparison
Dumbassss

No it isn’t. He had no experience of the League he was coming into, same as Walter. They had both managed at the equivalent level in Germany, dumbass.

Neither had managed in the league they were come into. We, so some say, should appoint someone with experience of managing in the league we are in. No different to Klopp, no experience of managing in the league he was coming into.

But klopp is not a good comparison
He had big success in germany

You could pick farke for example

Klopp had success with the best supported team in Germany.

Going by the criteria of our fans on not606 they would have been up in arms about appointing a bloke from Denmark with little managerial experience at a senior level with no experience of the Championship.

Yep farke is a better example and shows plucking foreign managers can work, but even farke had multiple promotions and success on his CV.

Thomas Frank didn’t have any success before moving to Brentford.

Farke had multiple promotions? From an amateur league he had 2. Didn’t win the league with the best supported club in Germany,

Klopp’s reputation was based on what he did at Dortmund.

It's almost like more nuance is needed in assessing a manager than picking a small sample of games and determining a manager's worth off the back of it. Robins has succeeded numerous times, Walter doesn't have a single success on his CV.

Maybe Liverpool should have got Brendan Rodgers back from Celtic since he was doing so well in a foreign league.
You mean exactly like what you’re doing with Walter?:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Don’t know the circumstances but on paper at least I am very surprised Robins has been shown the door at Coventry. I rated him highly even going back to Coventry’s financial problems. The expectation levels at Coventry must be huge to dump a bloke who did so much for them under incredible difficult circumstances to say the least . Whether or not Robins would come here is another hypothetical question given the clubs current problems but IF City are oiling the trap door you’d of thought someone will already have been on the blower and had a word with The Big Turk about Robins credentials and his sudden availability.

I hope so. But he would have to allow Robins to be more of a manager than head coach (which hasn't been Acun's way so far, but hopefully he's learned his lesson), and to allow him to recruit his number 2 who Cov ditched I think at the beginning of this season.

Surely Rob Edwards is next to be sacked? Lost 5-1 to Boro today. Coventry and Luton have been well below expectations.
