Adkins isn't great, he actually had a semi decent squad with us but chose a good time to walk after he rebuilt his reputation. He's messed it up again now though

I was more referring to the idea that we need stability after some madness, as opposed to actually hiring Adkins back.
Massimo Allegri is free. He should challenge himself.
But what's gonna change between now and WBA? Might as well get the process underway, if we do it over the break then there'll be a week or so where nothing happens. Better to do it now, maybe not before Sunday, but at least we will have more time and the coach can come in and work with the players.
He was at Aberdeen this year and is currently an advisor at Torquay, I'm sure he could be convinced.
