I probably would get rid but I don’t think he’s been helped by the mess in the summer. We left it too late and still didn’t end up with a striker. It’ll now be an even bigger struggle with two of our better recruits from the summer, out for the season.

We might need a steady appointment, someone with experience who will keep us up fairly comfortably and see where we’re at come the end of the season.

We need an Adkins style appointment, just steady it and establish a bit of confidence.

Next manager should not be an overseas appointment - they are always a disaster - Slutsky, Averladze and Wally all out of their depth in the Championship and well on the way to taking us down. Even Marco Silva ended in glorious failure. Just give us a no-frills manager who knows the championship
