Oh this is superb:

Nike had specially designed Vinicius Ballon d'or boots to unveil today in an event in Madrid. Real Madrid TV had 5 hours of programming to air about his win. Vini himself was going to have a party and hand out Rolexes. He was telling Gavi to watch him collect the award Monday.
Their media told them it was theirs, no question, and they believed it fully.
They broke rule #1, "don't get high off your own supply."
Now they're outraged that something that was never theirs was "taken from them."

Whereas Harry Kane accepted the Gerd Muller Trophy, credited his teammates and said it was a privilege to be invited to the ceremony.
Maybe if Real weren't such spoiled, entitled bitches they wouldn't have lost 4-0 to Barca at home?

Rodri was immense by every metric applied to midfielders of his type. It’s not all about attacking players - although the history of the award would generally suggest that it is. And it’s a team game. So individuals play a part, but they are limited by the strengths and weaknesses of their teammates, the team itself and their opponents.

How many times has Modric won this Balloon thing?

Romano’s said Amorim can be considered Utd manager.

Gonna be quite interesting to see him in the Prem. Been superb for Sporting, two titles and three cups in four years and they’re currently top of the league again now. Plays an attacking 343, beat and drew with us in the CL a couple years back.

I reckon he’ll want two new WBs, a ST and possibly another CB based on what he’ll be inheriting at Utd. Not sure what Utd’s financial situation is at the moment though.

Weird how he went from West ham turning him down cos of his staff demands and no one batting an eyelid to him suddenly being the hottest prospect around

Spoke to a couple of filth fans earlier and they mentioned Legohead's weird subs yesterday.
2-0 up against Preston at half-time and he brought on the rapist and Havertz. 3-0 up with half an hour to go and he subbed on Saka.
Really weird squad management. He seems determined to burn out some of their players, for some reason.
