Go on twitter and see new the vid mate, he was out of control, if it hadn't of been for the two women only knows how this would have ended. Threatened, the man had his hands in his pockets, it was a good job he fell on his arm and not his head, because they often end in manslaughter charges.

I think it was around 2am in the morning this all happened, I thought at the time I bet he's intoxicated, sort of behaviour you'd expect from young people on a night out clubbing. not a 55 year old. I think the new version today which I assume come from a shop or house cctv made it even worse - exchange of words, guy standing there with his hands in his pocket and Amesbury just smacks him in the face. This is the sort of thing where people normally fall back and crack their head, and you end up looking at a manslaughter charge, fortunately he was a big enough guy to go down on his arm. The sort of unruliness locals often complain to MP's about. Obviously I don't know what was said, and we'll have to wait and see.

Can't think of anything in the budget that bothered me.

Tax relief to continue on business rates, reduction in price of draft beers, although cigs and vapes to get clobbered but happy they had already removed the anti smoking plan, so got to see it from both sides of the coin. Hospitality was a real concern, it's just how all this minimum wage fits into smaller pubs and businesses.

I’ll have a proper look at the budget later. But on the surface it looks decent enough. More money for the NHS and schools, small businesses protected from rate rises and no direct tax increases on working people.

£6.5bn extra from closing tax loopholes and ending the non dom status, along with a bike hike in tax on private jet travel are all the right steps to raise money for the Govt to spend on public services <ok>

You obviously missed the increase to Employers NI contribution going up to 15% which will affect small companies and self employed

The very, very big Companies will just absorb the increase, reduce their Corporation Tax on profits or just pass it on to the general public in price increases and therefor fuel inflation

Interesting that all the so called experts employed by the media who were virtually demanding a Labour Government at the Election are not at all impressed and think that the real Sledge Hammer will come in a year or two

If the Tories had managed to get another term and announced this Budget their would have been massive uproar and complaints that they had stagnated growth so really makes no difference who is in charge except for how WE are stitched up

Just to confirm as I know you will all be concerned this Budget does not affect me at all

Well someone needed to be smacked with increases.

Thats what happens when we go from a ratio of 10 workers to 1 pensioner to now 3 workers to a pensioner.

13 million pensioners getting free money means someone has to lose out (in this case companies)

Tbph I don't really care about anything to do with this budget, my only real thought is we don't have a party that's now stealng our taxes and giving it to their mates, so longer term, years down the line things can only improve. Not happy with all this compensation shhite that's being paid out though, £11.5B just for the blood scandal, oh do fook off.
