Founder members of the Football League and one of only 10 clubs to have played in the football League in every season of its existence. The only club from a smaller city than Derby to win the title since was Blackburn and that was only because of Jack Walker’s money. I wish some of our fans wouldn’t sneer at and decry clubs with better support and more history than ours.

I'm in Brid a lot. Rarely hear Southern accents there. But do here plenty of West & South Yorkshire accents, day trippers and residents ... which says a lot about Brid. They're eager to leave their **** house towns to come to Brid! Can't blame them. Brid's a great place. I've been to many resorts around the country and Brid's beaches are up there with the best. Some of us are lucky to have it on our door steps. If only the shopping in the centre was better (like it was a few decades ago - M&S, Binns, Burtons, ...).

Lots of accents from all over this weekend. It is Scooter Weekend. Place is packed, busiest weekend outside of summer holidays. Great to hear, and smell, the original 1960s two stroke ones as they go past.

Last time I went in a pub in town whilst it was on, which was a while ago, there were a lot from the Midlands and Lancashire,. And a group from Scunthorpe. Two of them were were Lambrettaman shirts. They then went out and got on to immaculately maintained choice of the ace face mods in the 1960s Vespas.<laugh>

Don't we all. Doesn't mean they're anything other than a mediocre 2nd tier club at best these days

No commas or question marks on it either. And a caps lock which doesn’t work when it should and inserts capitals when they are not needed.
