He should have realised that Wilson was always going to be a problem.

Should have got rid.
So he’s either Doctor Who with a Tardis or he’s got medical qualifications? Amazing how accurate hindsight is?

His original contract expired in June 2024. It was extended by a year in September 2023. It now expires in June 2025. He scored 10 goals last season in 26 appearances last season. Not a great stretch to think he might get the same this season. If he does it will have been worth keeping him on.

Don’t let facts influence you in any way though.

Your comments seem bonkers given we can’t get him on the pitch because he’s always injured.

**** me just ask yourself the question if your employee can’t do his job. Is he worth having?

Come on man. Don’t just argue for arguments sake. Wilson is a liability: plain and simple:

Buying a striker these days with no coin isn't going to work out too well.

Cbs and rw will then a striker will almost compete the puzzle.... oh and getting rid of the big oaf in goal.. great shot stopper but the games moved on and he can't kick the ball.

It's too much coin so they have to prioritise

Here’s some facts for you. And yes there IS a page 2. But don’t let facts get in the way pal.

If they bought lewin most of you guys would be moaning. They signed Osula that's how much that was available for a striker.

We've got isak wilson Gordon and osula

It's just not a priority position and a very expensive one to get the quality required.

Look at the facts. Last season, that was when the contract was extended. He then scored 10 goals. Name the other players who scored 10 goals last season?

If the employees has a contract as an employer you are stuck with it. Basic law. You can’t use hindsight to change it.

Your comments actually sound bonkers because there is no logic or common sense or acknowledgment of the position when the contract was signed. Or even what happened last season.

For what it’s worth. I’ve watched Osula a couple of times and he has raw talent which I’m sure can be improved.

But having a player who can’t get on the pitch is silly. I like Wilson. When fit he’s a good player but I feel he’s just interested in his physical appearance and his teeth these days.

Meanwhile Harry Kane keeps banging in the goals.

He’s injured all the time mate. **** me how can you not see this. Tell me how many games he’s played this season.

Chris wood. Goalscoring machine.

If only we had a striker like him.
And he’s always fit and on the pitch.

I would rather a player being on the pitch and fit trying his best than a player who seems to be more interested in his physical appearance.

Wood scored again.

Amazingly, you fail to comment on the number of goals he scored or the number of appearances when he was the back up striker. Go on, tell me how many others of our players scored that many or had the same or better goal ratio?

For a back up striker I can live with him performing like last season. You do realise goals win matches?

The fact we offered him a contract extension was because of Howe. Nothing more and nothing less.

Has he been on the pitch this season?

He’s injured “all the time” yet he scored 10 goals last season in 26 appearances. If this discussion is not keeping to factual observations then I’m out as it’s wasting my time.

@Delusional Full Stop i am saying he is a good player when fit.

You do see this in my post right???

So to be clear when fit and on the pitch he is a good player. But he is NEVER on the pitch.
