He's not been very good this season, but I think Howe's desperation to fit in one of his pick in Barnes has been partly why.

He can't hold the ball up..... I don't see him as a striker.... I'd like to see him play with one.
Yeah, how would he fit 6 full backs into the team if he also starts with 2 strikers?
Well I’m positive about this if the usual suspects are busy spinning their negativity.
He is an absolutely cracking player when the style of play suits his. Running at people and a looking for a shot on goal. But I agree, sometimes he just looks lost playing as a traditional #9. If he starts up top then our style needs to play to his strengths.

This was a thread about Antony Gordon, not our players being sold, however Gordon was only talked about in the first post.
Gordon has confused me this season, more miss than hit. Did the Liverpool thing really distract him that much? Or is he another one who has ability but it only comes in patches?

I think he would have been better off having a summer break instead if going away on England duty and only getting about 5 minutes on the pitch.
It's ok charlie nothing is going to happen if people branch off... isak is in contract talks so it's kinda related.
