Exactly, Technically we are still are in an ice age, the polar caps are frozen. And more co2 would lead to more plant life, but hey that won’t let the chicken littles crying the sky is falling in.
Things haven't changed much over the years. Teachers still teach rubbish to kids. When I was at primary school (forties) we were told that the last ice age hadn't quite finished yet!!
People also forget that in the middle ages (so before industrialisation and with a much smaller population to build fires at home) Britain was warm enough to grow vinyards in the south so presumably much of Europe was warmer too.
