Yep. I was apoplectic. After allv
I know but there were no reasons to extend it as there were no stoppages
the cr**p he had dished out to us all game he could have just blown his whistle at 7 mins but no let the corner come in, let it be cleared, still don’t blow,….

He clearly wanted Leicester to win from the first minute. Must have had them in his acca or something.

One of the most one sided officiating displays you will ever see

What Martin failed to do was react when Leicester brought Fatuwu on. Did he forget what he did last season against us? And he had Manning up against him. He eventually brought Fraser on but that was because Sugawara had a knock. What he should have done is bring Sulemana on and have him track Fatuwu with Manning doubling up. Instead he brings him on for Dibling and he has absolutely no effect on the game. The whole second half was an absolute mess from Martin and he does not learn his lesson.
Really 100% , so, so obvious and that’s on RM. I’m sorry but he’s lost the plot.

Think the rule changed on that recently where if it was due to a foul they can stay on. Or something like that anyway.

I'm curious to know why it took so long for Smallbone to be allowed back on though?

The bigger pisstake was Leicester delaying their own free kick in the first half for an injured player who was off the pitch.

The time they delayed that FK for was far longer than the wasted time which Sugawara got booked for. Plus it quite clearly didn't factored into the first half injury time.

Yep I said the same when the 2 minutes was announced. Complete joke.

this has to be close to the worst PL start of all time, right?

We will lose again next week so that’s 1 point from 27

Having played our two fellow promoted teams at home and the sides who finished 16th and 17th last season.

Christ. I think Derby’s record is genuinely in trouble.
St Mary’s hasn’t even turned toxic yet. Eventually the fans will turn and then we will get even worse <laugh>

Gonna be a long season

Oh it was pretty toxic at the final whistle

The game changing moment was Cooper taking off a FB for Fatawu. That was basically Cooper going all-in. It opened up the game massively. Just bringing Fatawu on would have been impactful, because he destroyed us last season, but to do it in place of a defender was a massive game-changer.

We had two options. The defensive option of trying to shore up our left side (even more than it already was). Or the attacking option of seeking to exploit the regular vacant space in their right back area. Sadly, we did neither. Martin's reaction to that tactical change was awful.

His subs in general were awful - unforgiveable to leave the experience of Lallana on the bench - but to see Cooper do him over like that, I think it has to be the end.
THIs ^ So,so ****ing obvious before the game & during. RM sub was stupid, maybe arrogant.

Heard a lot of boos from by gasworks so imagine it was fairly toxic once the whistle went.

I left as soon as the goal went in.

I'm going to go slightly against the grain and say that I thought Fraser did ok when he came on (pre-red card of course) - he found a couple of pockets of space on the flank and made a couple of mazy runs into the box. The other subs were poor though.

We started to invite pressure in the first half though, better all the substitute nonsense - about ten minutes before half time we were dropping deeper and deeper, completely disregarding what had been working up until then. I appreciate that we were just trying to get to half time but we just can't cope being pressed.
