    Reading the title, I thought he'd injured his back now <doh>

    Excellent news. I figured Sandro was injured when he didn't start for us against PAOK.

    Good news indeed,i was also surprised Sandro wasn't in the squad on wednesday.Makes you wonder if Pav and GDS were injured though or have they already left the club?

    I think they were injured PBH, because I'm pretty sure both would have played, certainly Pav. Harry said as much when he broke the news on them re PAOK. It's really annoying as we needed them for that game, even if we'd have lost we could have rested JD and Lennon (not sure why he played anyway).

    I thought that Sandro was left out on Wednesday as a precaution, in case van der Vaart wasn't back for this game.

    Reckon it'll be the team that played Villa then. Defoe and Sandro being the ones replaced from the WBA game. Hopefully Sandro will be ok to make the bench.

    We could have done with Pav, Sandro and GDS on Wed, probably would have got the necessary draw or win then.
