I realised why the left hate Elon so much. It’s because every ideal is a judge. It’s the same reason that people try and graffiti the Mona Lisa or pull down statues of Christopher Columbus or other great historical figures. When you create amazing works of art, or discover new things, some become inspired and want to see more of that in the world. Others hate greatness. Someone doing great things shines a spotlight on their lack of greatness. It provides hard proof that they have achieved nothing in their life. This defines the left’s politics of envy in a nutshell. They hate great men because they will never do anything great themselves.
