During the last world cup my mrs called me an annoying ****. I was so shocked I almost swallowed my Vuvuzela <yikes>

Count yourself lucky mate. Friends of mine have got me to drink from a Vuvuzela as they kept pouring beer in. Trust me, they hold a lot of liquid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kuduzelas, which we don't see over here, are very iteresting. If ever I go back to SA, I'll have to get one & see if the shape slows down the flow of beer!!

interesting <ok>

2nd row or blind side flanker. The captain just put me somewhere I wouldn't hurt anyone given that I was a converted footballer & not adept at getting the tackling right. Good job I was fit. We lost the first game I ever played 85-0 & I spent the entire game getting off the back of our scrum & chasing the winger on the far side as he scored yet another try.

Chris Moyles is certainly not a Leeds fan. When he first arrived in London the taxi driver asked him if he was & Moyles snapped back "Just because I'm from Leeds doesn't mean I support Leeds United. In fact I hate football". He's just a annoying fat bastard.
I did read somewhere that the billionaire Sir Philip Green is a Leeds fan,if so £40m to buy Bates out is like small change for him.
Also thought Nasser Hussain was a Leeds fan but read an interview last year where apparently he's changed his allegiance to Chelsea......strange bloke!

Why on earth would he play Leeds songs on Radio 1 (a national radio station) if he wasn't a Leeds fan? Just asking to lose listeners otherwise...

He & Radio 1 don't play all the top artists, so you're right, why should he play music from a top club? Someone else had it right, he's just a brainless motormouth. No talent, just a big gob!!

Bet he'd get Rachubka a run for his money in goal

Elland, get Rachubka??? ...give Rachubka a run for his money.

True but Moyles would only get confused the first time someone told him to use his hands to catch the ball rather than his mouth. Just realised, that's possibly Rachubka's problem. He tried to use his mouth to catch the ball as well. It just wasn't big enough. SG, big hint. Tell 'im to use 'is 'ands!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When Moyles' book came out a couple of years ago, while I was in Waterstones I happened to browse through it to see if there was anything about him supporting Leeds United & that's where I read about his altercation with the cabbie where he quite clearly states he hates football & isn't a Leeds fan. As for him playing Leeds United related songs on Radio 1 I wouldn't know. Basically he's just a twat.

I used to listen to Radio 1 a good few years ago. He started following us when we were in the champions league. He pretty much jumped on the bandwagon and then when things started going wrong, he'd speak less and less about them.

I'm pretty sure Chris Moyles is from Stoke, and I'm pretty sure his book has a chapter about being a Leeds fan so...

He was born in Leeds and worked in Stoke on local radio. Admits he knows nowt about Football but takes an interest in his home club. He's good pals with Paul Robinson.

I did exactly the same thing and that's where I found the entire chapter about us.

Some nice touches from the 'Wall - http://www.leedsunited.com/news/20111202/tributes-from-millwall_2247585_2532864

Elland, does your comment above confirm you as the spelling policeman? Not my fault if my ex rugby playing fingers occasionally miss a key.

Could I also note that, before the game against Donny on tuesday night - the minute's silence was treated with the utmost respect by both sets of supporters. Some people earn and deserve respect - Speedo was one, and among the best!

Back in the premiership days Moylesy had a season ticket and was always at the games, since we dropped down the leagues (and he got more famous) he doesnt go as much!

But he did make the -15 points song up :)
