Superb performance, very impressive. Hopefully Gunn's fit by the end of the international break. The two week break might be well-timed there.

Can we keep hold of Sainz in the January transfer window? If what I read is reliable, there are some Spanish sides interested?

After going 2 goals up we failed to do what Thorup has been repeatedly urging on the team when in that position, i.e. to keep the same pressure on and go for another goal. Our energy and intensity dropped off, and Hull were able to start to play their game and create openings. That improved level from the visitors continued in the second half, until Gordon's goal. If Hull had been a bit further on in their adaptation to Walter's tactically innovative approach -- especially their midfield and CBs -- I think the score would have been much less one-sided. The return match is in mid-February; it will be interesting to see how it pans out then.

Yes especially if we are in the playoffs
We're in 6th place at the moment with the other games at half time. The international break comes at a good time for us with Gunn's problem today and 5 other players out injured. Fassnacht and Sørensen could be back by the time we play at Stoke and then at Preston the following Tuesday.

Good time from an injury perspective, not so good from a momentum/form perspective though. If we play like we did today against anyone in the league, we are not going to lose.

Some of the inter play in mid field was as good as I have seen from us. No waiting to decide what to do. Nunez is a different player.I remember his first few games for us before Smith trained his natural instinct out of him. He's back, and magnificent. He really has become the heartbeat of our team. And this guy Fisher. We had some peripheral player here last season but I am not sure what happened to him. This new Fisher is exceptional. Obviously I am joking, but the transformation is amazing.

Gunn picked up a rib injury, took a knock to them right at the end of the first half. Awaiting a scan. Given a 15 min interval wasn't enough to ease pain/discomfort, we'll see if it's broken ribs. A broken rib could be up to 6 weeks out, but often much quicker.

Just don't laugh or cough

You were very good today..... BUT and there is a big but, your team was and your fans or some were not it seems...

Just listening to our football reporter who after praising you rightly told all of us of the dogs abuse Kamara got whilst warming up and in play from your fans because of his leaving to try and pursue his career for his own reasons. After a fabulous pre match huddle for World Mental Health Day, a section of your supporters seemingly let your team and club down. If it was you, you know what you are, if you know ones who did it, tell them they dont represent your club.

Every team has some fans like that. Personally, I thought the fee was a good one given his potential. I thought he played well today and hope he does well for you.

Don't go to a pantomime you may get equally offended

I have seen it reported that his wife gave birth, not sure if that had anything to do with his substitution.
