Just noticed a couple of interesting things re: the reserve team. Firstly Sam Hutchinson if back. You may remember the talented Defender retired at age 21 due to a persistent knee injury. Well news to me, but apparently he is on the comeback trail and has had a few reserve team games. Not sure if he will ever be able to fully over come his problems but good luck to him. Looked class in the few times I saw him at centre or right back. And Piazon is now over and has played a couple of reserve games also. High hopes for this Brazilian teenager. Lets hope we get to see him near the first team in the coming couple of years.
Hopefully Lalkovic can finally break through to the first team at the end of the season, trust me that kid is a world class striker in the making
Great news about Sam. I too am keen to see Lalkovic move up. I'm surprised he didn't get an outing in the Carling Cup at some point.
Just had the Chelsea mag delivered and saw Lalkovic banged in two goals against Norwich in our recent reserve fixture! Didn't for some reason see this match on CTV!
His a goal machine, been watching him for about a year now and i've never seen nothing like him, obviously it's only the reserves but he just looks like his got all the tools already and people say Josh is our hottest prospect since Terry well i don't agree, Milan is trust me. Theres a few videos on youtube of him, have a look mate and just look at the class he has!
The good news this morning is that Sam Hutchinson has signed a year and a half deal with Chelsea and will be assessed every six weeks throughout that period. It goes without saying that we wish Sam every bit of luck with this. <applause
