And most of those millions have primarily gone on players directly from or via the Eredivisie. It’s as if he’s forgotten there’s a whole world out there full of great footballers and just wanted those that made him feel closer to home.

The Eredivisie has been a decent supplier to the Prem over the years but literally trying to build an Eredivisie team in the Premier League is frankly dumb.

For every Vertonghen there is a Janssen and he has bought too many Janssens

Fantastic result and a good performance, should have scored 6 or 7 with the chances that were missed. The red card was harsh but the amount of times we have been royally robbed blind at Old Toilet over the years it barely touches the surface of any kind of payback. It was lovely to see Fernandes red carded, he has been let off with murder in the past. Kulusevski was my man of the match, he is way more productive playing central.

The 180 you’ve done on your best mate is scandalous <laugh>

I may be stubborn, but I'm not a complete idiot.

His performances this season have been an absolute disgrace.

I just watched the highlights back and noticed that he was the closest player to Garnished Nachos when the latter hit the post, but instead of tracking back he just stood there and watched. Embarrassment.

Fairplay to Aussie AVB, that was a great watch. I do still fear that we're naive to think this will work long term when even CIty had to become more pragmatic over the years but it's fun when it works.

I thought we looked very good at the time but looking back I do think United today ranked alongside Everton in worst teams we faced this season. Every press seemed to return us the ball and I don't think that will happen often. It's a **** load better than Conte and Jose's misery-ball though.

Also, Solanke has really been excellent, I was very unconvinced when we signed him but he's doing a lot of good work for our overall play and adding some poacher goals in there too. It's like combining the best bits of Darren Bent and Soldado :D

How you view him now is how I’ve viewed him for years.

Just a brainless donut that happens to be blessed with bags of pace - he utilised that a few times today but to naturally no avail because his final ball is awful and I think always will be. His two misses were terrible too, in the early days you could laugh it off but it’s now beyond a laughing matter.

Everything about his re-signing has just been a disaster though.
A - he’s a **** footballer.
B - he’s in the way of Moore’s development.
C - he’s essentially one of the variables that’s prevented Spence from being picked in the Europa.
