Could it have gone any better? Obviously forest is a real blip but I think we’d have taken that at the start of the season.

We’ve set ourselves up well, 2 more games that look winnable before fixtures take a harder turn on paper.

Oh and it does look like the real season starts after the next international ****break.
 
That performance was on a par with our performance against Forest. We seem to think we just have to turn up against the lower teams which is not the case.

We should have dominated that game, but let Wolves set the pace.

3 points is good and we are top, but we need to up our game against the lower clubs.

Thats twice now for no real reason. Can't explain how poor macallister or Szoboszlai or salah were at just making tlsure the ball goes to their team mate. Most of it was not final ball passes it was just **** sloppiness.

Do you think we play at too slow a pace in comparison to when under Klopp. I understand Slot wants to be more patient and controlled but I think it allows too much time to the opposition to close down players. Not enough Quick pass and movement to beat the press at times

No. I just think the passing wasnt on it.

Speed the passing up and you can play with all the control you like and move it about. We were on our heels, not giving each other options amd frankly trent wandering infield wasn't offering konate any passing options.

If found today's shape poor but the touch and passing was miles off on top.

Salah wins it and can even take a touch. Hits wide. No keeper.

Salah pass towards tje general direction of jones when it's a 2 on 1 was tragic. Absolutely tragic. That has to go.

So yeah. Awful performance one the ball but wolves were that bad we got away with it after throwing the ball into our own net.

Konate should never ever ever be demanding his keeper come out when he has the ball to deal with himself.

1. It happened in an instant, it's silly to think he had time to pick his spot.
2. He did the right thing taking it first time - he just did it poorly.
3. I agree. Even I was shouting at him there - don't think he heard though.

Give that to Jota and he toe pokes it. 100% scores.

He just gone to block thst back to not miss the ball and as a result misses.

It could have gone through Johnstone legs tbh. But it's just symptomatic of exactly what people are saying about more end product.

I agree it has to be hit but you could make a case thst a touch set him up as well.

Not quite the Same thing as him hitting it first time v utd as it was on his right but it is an open goal even with a touch.

Any one of those 3 open goals goes in amd it's wolves giving up.

Their crowd is on their backs and not helping them. They came out for 40 seconds after we were handed thr ball with the crowd up them brainfsrted us back the lead.

They then proceeded to kill the crowd passing backwards

I'd sack o Neill for taking off their donkey cf and putting on another. You are losing stick two up and load it up there amd crowd us. He made it easy for us.

Tbh he looks like it's time. Just time to go but we will offer that new deal. When he got that fantastic touch and ball forward he couldn't keep going.

Every time he has it he makes the same cut back and players are just waiting all the time. I'd say he loses it 9/10?

But on the ball with a pass to make and his passing was consistently poor today. Some were just average keep the ball recycling passes that he ****ed.

I dunno. Just looks to me like this should be the last year right now.

He will probably play amazing then cos he is that good.

It's not like Diaz wasn't woeful as well and the passing out of macallister was absolutely god awful.

no way could Szob have taken a touch there just wasn't the time / space

I thought we did dominate. We created all the chances despite not playing great and reduced wolves to no threat whatsoever other than the goal which was from a **** up.

Szobo misses a sitter. Salah misses an open goal.

Sorry if szobo takes a touch 4 yards out I’m going absolutely mental at him, especially after the one v United where he took a touch about 9 yards out for no reason whatsoever.

It’s one of them that 9/10 you connect and it goes in or hits the kerpef and goes in. Look at his goal v Milan, cross first time shins it into the corner. This time a scuff prob sends it into the corner but he caught it so well it just fizzed straight at the keeper. One of those thing unfortunately.
