    Can anyone tell me what Evra, Luiz, Terry and Drogba have done this year to justify being in this shortlist? (Except playing for big clubs).

    Surprised Mario Gotze isn't in there. He is one of the best emerging players I've seen for ages and will be in La Liga or the PL before long I suspect.
