The Chavs and villa are good value imo. City and Arsenal are a couple of key injuries away from being as good as the rest.

Chelsea have a half decent line up by names until.you.get to the back line.

Back 5 are tragic.given the money spent.

Villa are solid but will blow up as the season progresses.

Top 6 shoot out so far with a winter of discontent settling in for spurs and utd fans

Newcastle the dark horses with no Europe again. Very uninspiring side under howe but if all stay fit there's enough there to challenge top 4.

Chelsea are cetrainly in the top 4 hunt

and there’s one of those injuries. KdB out too but not sore it’s serious. Arsenal look good for the title of they keep all fit

Shame we won't be close by the end.

No reserves

First 11 with only the league to focus on could run them close with luck around injuries but the work load is going to be too great.

Midfield of Endo and jones is going to bite.

agreed. Our last window, especially, will come home to roost

I still think we will learn why when the ffp numbers come.out.

I think we ran a big loss last year with no cl and buying klopp our midfield at net 80mil.

It's the only explanation.

We ran a 7mil loss with cl but a poor enough showing and 5th the season before.

It doesn't take long to be tipping towards 115mil that way

Same for the uefa new rules of 70% of revenue. We were at 68% on last numbers so that can also explain no new contracts.

I'd be fairly confident that if arsenal can get on a big run now that city won't be able to stay with them and we will have to sacrifice the other comps to do it.

we lost a lot of players, saving salaries and made a net profit this summer. I think we had the bandwidth for Zub but maybe not much more beyond that.

I'd presume that yes.

I think we are close to limits anyway. The uefa limit is wages plus salary so if you take out 90mil of ucl revenue and you delay thr anfield road opening losing 4mil a game then thrtrs a hole somewhere.

Arsenal are playing like champions, to be sincere I don't think we at their level. We need luck to finish above them.

I don't really think they are as much as playing like grinders, most champions don't need to start grinding quite so soon and have players getting sent off for being thick.

They've dropped 4 points imo and dropping 2 having being leading and deservedly so v your main title rival is not going to work out well.

2 season ago city hammered them twice a nd they fell apart

Last season they played really negative against city and celebrated not getting talent and still lost the title comfortably.

This season they are grinding again like as if that first season is still in their heads.

They have not repeated the long run of top form that put them 10 points clear in that first season.
