Had Pogs too, don't you worry Hundreds of the things. Then they brought out Pokemon Pogs too or Tazos, as they were later called.
Haha, they had Tazos too, before Pokemon. They were red with totally pointless little grooves around the outside. So you could build ridiculous structures out of them.. I suppose. Did you have a Master System or Mega Drive as a kid?
Yeah Tazos weren't as cool though, Pogs were always better. So Tazos jumped on the Pokemon craze to boost their popularity probably.. which clearly worked. The tazos fitted together whcih was kinda cool. But Pogs slammers were sweet and those little tubs you kept them in. I want some now. Had a Mega Drive, of course. Streets of Rage + Sonic! And a Gamegear, they were mental.
