It's our 3rd year on the trot with the same system essentially. I think it has less to do with training and methods, more to do with our opponents telegraphing what Newcastle United are all about. I think our 11s are also just crap, we make changes too late. Coming on 70th minute and having to change the entire ethos of a match in 2024 aint as easy as it was in the 90s.
And sometimes terrible at home. But most of the time we're good. My point was that to say that was the worst performance under Howe was ludicrous, we came close to grabbing a point but they got the breakthrough at the end.
That’s a snapshot in time. You’re right he should have passed it. But that first half was unacceptable for any manager let alone one who has been given 450m to spend and benches Tonali and plays Willock?
I'm not gonna blame either of them for a single moment in a match. Schar had 5 seconds to make a decision and chose wrong. Boohoo. We were **** for like 70 minutes in total and that's the squads fault.
Wimbledon will watch and realise that they have a great chance. Man City will be rubbing their hands.
I’m being facetious but yes he’s got a clanger in him for away games. He’s useless at getting results away from home. This season something is wrong. The intensity isn’t there. The work rate isn’t there.
Mate we could be playing out of our skins and City would stampede through us. Leagues turning into the Scottish prem.
Is it really Howe or is it Bunce dampening our high intensity in case we get loads of injuries again?
Don’t think it’s the result what’s pissing people off mate, it’s the performances. Half the team look like they just can’t be arsed
