lol, 'fleeting'? He blatantly grabs his arm and pulls him back. I guess now every foul can be ignored because contact is 'fleeting'.

Bizarre. I get that they don't want to interfere with the on-field decision (especially as the daft **** is only 5 yards away and has full vision of it), but VAR was supposed to be there for clear and obvious mistakes - and this was one. However short the contact was it was a clear, firm grab - if he'd have done that to his shirt, even momentarily, nobody would argue it was a pen. It's not as if he just pushed him or obstructed him for a moment - he literally grabbed hold of his wrist and stopped him getting to the ball in the box. Can't think of a more obvious definition of a penalty. :emoticon-0112-wonde

Here's the test as I see it - had that happened in the middle third and it stopped a breakaway there is no way on God's green earth that a foul and a yellow wouldn't have been given, however 'fleeting' the grab was deemed to be.

We get an apology from PGMOL almost every season for decisions made in our games v Chelsea.

Dud you pull their masters pants down in court over FFP PSR etc? ... the blatant offside not given by VAR for Palace's first goal last week has most of our conspiracy theorists the Prem have a points target in mind in revenge ...<laugh>

Saturday 3pm. Huge game. Sun's out.

What's not to like? (Except the prospect of VAR obvs)
